How Do the CDS 3DP Transparent 3D Display Systems Work?

Introducing the new 3D transparent LCD displays that we have created. Our transparent LCDs needing a high amount of backlight has posed many issues and hurdles for many customers in design and project applications. So we have introduced a new opportunity for backlighting our transparent LCD displays, by using a high brightness LCD display! This is our ClearVue3DP technology. The high brightness LCD display has matched polarisers to the transparent LCD so they work as a pair, creating a 3D effect. This presents a whole new transparent experience 😊 Available in landscape or portrait solutions from 15″ to 75″. No need for additional software and no glass needed! This is sold in component format and will need to be integrated. So far the most popular size is the biggest and the best the 75 inch 😃 The high brightness LCD will act as a “mood screen” for a basic video which should be predominantly white. Content on the back shouldn’t be too detailed as there will be a refraction. Keeping it simple is key as if it has too much going on it will affect screen in front. An object in between the screens would not be a problem at all if this is needed and the distance between the two screens is very subjective to your project/installation. They can’t be too close together due to a moire effect. WOW 75 inch 3DP, the 3D Transparent, in Testing Before Shipment

Check out a few test images of our 75″ 3DP solution before packing and shipping. We have developed the 75″ 4K transparent LCD with an L shape for the electronics so the display can be used in either portrait or landscape for ease in installation for our customers. Paired with the LG 2160 x 3840 4K high bright display with a whopping 3,000 nits brightness. The Most Amazing use of Transparent LCDs from CDS?

New Immersive 3D Transparent LCD Technology with no Showcase Box from CDS We have launched a new concept in transparent technology whereby they have created an amazing 3D effect! The brand new 3D transparent technology, ‘ClearVue 3DP’, creation is achieved with their transparent LCDs attaining a completely unique transparent experience. Combining an Ultra High brightness LCD with Transparent LCD, using ‘polarmatch’ technology to achieve a positive parallax 3D environment in which to immerse your customer in your brand message. The high brightness panel and transparent LCD have matched polarisers and work as a pair to create 3D content. The concept allows you to have an active background image, as well as a transparent LCD working in combination. As an example we have before used a 48” high brightness LCD with 2,000 cd as the rear panel paired with a transparent LCD with matched polarisation approx. 180mm in front of the high brightness display. This amazing new concept opens up so many new opportunities in design and project creation. Not only does it look fantastic but it means a backlight showcase box is no longer essential for transparent LCD installations which some customers have been struggling with for years due to capabilities and space issues. A number  of clients have used this concept so far, with a number at development stage,  to create immersive displays with the most incredible and fantastic ideas! In particular, the ClearVue 3DP has been realised at the Harris Innovation Center in Florida USA. It has been tremendously well received and has even been described as the most talked about experience at the center. This really does achieve that WOW FACTOR. The technology is not restricted, customers can even put a product between the 2 displays if you wanted to. The limitations are only in the creative ideas. The Science Museum Trust CDS Transparent with their Artefacts

The Science Museum went above and beyond to include a transparent LCD in one of their exhibits. They created temperature controlled custom made cabinets to protect their artefacts. This demonstrated that transparent displays can be used in combination with older more sensitive products that have to be carefully preserved. The added touchscreens allow visitor interaction and control of the information provided plus further stimulates the users’ senses as they help bring the exhibits to life. Transparent Displays Change the Future of the Dining Experience

Check it out, Eatsa “The Future of Restaurants Now”, have optimised the technology of transparent LCD displays to serve customers in their restaurants quickly and efficiently. This even means without any staff interaction. So customers simply use an app on their phone to check out the menu and can then order from a tablet inside the restaurant and can pay at the tablet by swiping their cards. “Eatsa’s technology platform empowers restaurants to deliver a magical customer experience, while serving more customers, faster and more efficiently.” A completely unique customer experience is created for hungry visitors whereby the fast food chain uses technology to automate the ordering and pick-up processes. Each food delivery “cubby” is fronted with a transparent LCD display which shows content on the front then flashes when the order is ready. The box then turns black and when it changes yet again it reveals the food order which is ready for the customer to collect and consume. Just like magic, the food appears.
