Introducing a New Concept in Transparent Technology, ClearVue 3DP

/

Check out CDS’ new ‘ClearVue 3DP’ creation with their transparent LCDs. Combining an Ultra High brightness LCD with Transparent LCD, using ‘polarmatch’ technology to achieve a parallax 3D environment in which to immerse you customer in your brand message… The concept allows you to  have an active background image, as well as a transparent LCD working in combination. In this particular example we have a 2,000 cd 47” LCD as the rear panel , and TLCD with matched polarisation approx. 180mm in front We have just used some demo content here at CDS, check it out in this YouTube clip below, the background display shows the aquarium foliage and the foreground shows the majority of the fish. A couple of clients have used this concept to create immersive displays with the most incredible and fantastic ideas! You could even put a product between the displays if you wanted to! CDS Designs Transparent Displays for Refrigerators and Coolers

CDS have standard transparent fridges available in 24″, 42″ and 47″ which are amazing “off-the-shelf” products with the options of a basic model involving a built in media board for USB content update (simple plug and play) as well as the “full” option of infrared touch and android board. These products have special moisture-proof treatment carried out as well as illumination intensity sensors built in to prevent dazzling when opening the fridge door. As well as offering finished transparent fridge products, CDS also offer transparent LCD displays for refrigerator production. These are available in sizes; 23″, 32″, 42″, 47″ and 55″ and include metal framing. Using transparent displays in refrigerator production is not as straight forward as it may seem and so CDS have created this application reference guide to help and advise their customers. Incredible Transparent LCD Screens used in a Restaurant without Staff

Modern fast-food chain Easta in San Francisco uses technology to automate the ordering and pick-up processes resulting in the whole experience being achieved through displays with no staff members involved. Customers can download an app to order their food and the restaurant also has iPads inside for people to use. After orders are placed customers have to wait by a wall of display boxes with transparent LCDs as the lids. A screen lets customers know when their order has been placed and the number of the box where their food will arrive in. Another Amazing Transparent Masterpiece!

CDS wanted to share with everyone one of their extremely talented customer’s piece of work where they took a couple of 21.5″ transparent LCD panels and kits and turned them into something extraordinary! The masterpiece, named Excavations by the talented Patrick Hough, is an interesting piece of work which explores the convergence between cinema, technology and museology. Many major Museums worldwide are now responding to technological shifts and digitalising their larger collections and we think it looks great!
